CD/DVD burning SIG 

Whether you want to burn a copy of your important files, those special pictures to send to a friend, or some music to listen to on a trip, CD burning is an important part of using a computer.  This class will give you the
knowledge you need to make it easy.

Internet & E-mail SIG

This class includes information on how to email, including adding attachments, using most types of email programs, including Hotmail, Yahoo, AOL, Gmail, as well as Outlook express and Outlook. Internet use would include use of search engines as a tool to look up just about anything. PC security will also be covered.

 

 

 

Photo Course SIG

Don Bart presents two classes on working with photographs on your computer. The first class discusses the basics of putting photos into the computer by scanning, digital camera, etc. If you already know how to do these things, there is no need to attend. The second class demonstrates fixing, editing and putting your photos into computerized albums.

Word Processing SIG

If you have no experience with Word and other word processing programs and want to start from the beginning, or if you have some experience but want to become more proficient, then you’ve come to the right place.
This two-part class will cover the basics of using Word and similar programs, including entering and editing text, moving and copying text, formatting, page layout, spell checker, mail merge, and inserting pictures and art.
